Mont Rubí was founded in 1984 in a winery built in the nineteenth century. It is located in the Barcelona Wine Region of Penedès  in Catalunya.

For over 25 years they have been creating small production wines using a mix of both old world and modern winemaking techniques. Focus is on indigenous varieties of the Penedès  region that are best suited to terroir. They include Sumoll, Xarel-lo, Parrellada, Garnatxa and Samsó.
